This bright red butter bell works great to keep your butter soft, spreadable, and fresh. Put a little water in the dish, and your butter (a whole stick will fit) in the lid, and the water creates an air tight seal. Change the water every 3 days. This butter bell's lid is 3 1/4"wide by 2" deep inside.
